Maybe it’s a regional thing, because everyone I know prefers sports court over polished concrete. Some prefer wood over sports court, but nobody I know likes concrete. My teams have always found skating on concrete to be an adventure, at least…
I’ve skated on sport court and actually didn’t mind it. When you fall though, that sucks because there’s no give. I’ve met many skaters who love wood floors, that seems to be an across the board favorite from what I’ve encountered.
I’ve always skated on concrete and that seems to be what most leagues skate on where I’m from. I like concrete, but like I said, that’s what I’m use to. But I’ve found just as long as you have the proper wheels for whatever you’re skating on, it’s no biggie.
Why do they keep holding playoffs on concrete? Does no one have a sports court they could use?
I think most people prefer concrete over sport court. Plus, why pay for sport court when skating on concrete is free?
Where does your state fit in?
Also you maybe wondering what a couple of these are, and I’m happy to say I have posts/wiki articles on them that will clear that out for you.
